ReportZapp (“ReportZapp”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting Personal Data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our website, applications, and services, (collectively the Services)

This policy is designed to comply with applicable privacy laws and  Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) Data Protection Policy requirements.

1. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

  • Visitors to our website
  • Registered users of ReportZapp
  • Amazon sellers who authorize ReportZapp via Amazon SP-API
  • Any Personal Data processed in connection with our Services

2. Definitions

  • “Personal Data” means information that identifies or can reasonably identify an individual.
  • “PII” (Personally Identifiable Information) includes buyer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers, and order-related data.
  • “Amazon SP-API Data” means data accessed through Amazon’s Selling Partner API.
  • “Customer” refers to the Amazon seller or business entity using ReportZapp.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information Provided by Customers

We may collect:

  • Account and contact information
  • Business details
  • Authentication credentials
  • Support communications

3.2 Amazon SP-API Data

With explicit seller authorization, we may access:

  • Order data
  • Shipment data
  • Buyer-related information required for reporting and analytics

We access Amazon SP-API data only after the seller grants explicit consent through Amazon’s authorization flow.

4. Purpose of Data Processing

We process Personal Data strictly to:

  • Provide analytics, reporting, and operational insights
  • Support Amazon Seller Central–related workflows
  • Maintain system functionality and security
  • Fulfill contractual and legal obligations

Amazon SP-API data is never used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or resale.

5. Seller Authorization & Control

Amazon sellers:

  • Retain full ownership and control of their data
  • May revoke ReportZapp’s SP-API access at any time through Amazon Seller Central
  • Can request deletion of their data as described below

ReportZapp acts solely as a  data processor  on behalf of the seller.

6. Data Usage Limitations

We do not:

  • Sell Personal Data
  • Share SP-API data with unauthorized third parties
  • Use Amazon data outside the seller-approved scope

All data usage is strictly limited to the services requested by the Customer.

7. Logging & PII Handling

ReportZapp’s systems are designed to:

  • Minimize logging of Personal Data
  • Avoid intentional storage of PII in application or system logs

Where logging is required for security or operational monitoring, logs are protected and access-restricted.

8. Data Retention

Personal Data is retained:

  • Only as long as necessary to provide the Services
  • In accordance with contractual and legal obligations

Upon service termination or valid request:

  • Data is deleted or anonymized
  • Backup retention follows secure lifecycle policies

9. Data Security Measures

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • Role-based access controls
  • Secure authentication mechanisms
  • Encrypted data transmission where applicable
  • Monitoring and audit logging
  • Secure cloud infrastructure

10. Sub-Processors

We may use trusted third-party service providers (sub-processors) for:

  • Cloud hosting
  • Infrastructure
  • Monitoring and communications

All sub-processors are contractually required to meet data protection standards consistent with this Privacy Policy and our Data Processing Agreement.

11. Data Subject Rights

Depending on applicable law, individuals may have rights to:

  • Access their Personal Data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Restrict or object to processing

Requests should be directed to the seller (data controller). We assist our Customers in responding to such requests where applicable.

12. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a confirmed Personal Data breach:

  • ReportZapp will notify affected Customers without undue delay
  • We will cooperate fully in mitigation and reporting obligations

13. International Data Transfers

Personal Data may be processed in jurisdictions where ReportZapp or its service providers operate, subject to appropriate safeguards and applicable data protection laws.

14. Children’s Privacy

ReportZapp services are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date.
